Skiing Maria Alm am Steinernen Meer Maria Alm is a member of Austria’s biggest ski resorts association Ski Amadé. This interconnection of 25 towns offers 270 state of the art ski lifts and more than 860 km of terrain for all abilities of skiers and snowboarders. Hochkönigs Winterreich comprises Maria Alm/Aberg/Hintermoos, Dienten and Mühlbach am Hochkönig. Hochkönigs Winterreich offers everything from groomed cruisers, hiking to bowls, a terrain park, night skiing and features all the amenities you could imagine, including free parking, free shuttle service, lessons, dining, rentals and retail – all at family friendly prices.

Langlaufen in Maria Alm am Steinernen Meer

With more than 30 km of cross country skiing trails, Maria Alm boasts one of Austria’s biggest trail networks. The runs cover all levels of difficulty: beginners, intermediate, advanced and really challenging; all free of charge and open to the public. The very special highlight that will make your cross country trip great is the floodlit night run Nachtloipe Ritzensee in Saalfelden (5km from Maria Alm). This world championship-like run is rather challenging.

Rodeln in Maria Alm und Umgebung Maria Alm offers two floodlit winter tobogganing runs, Kronreith and Jufen, the latter of which is within walking distance of our farm. After having tucked into a tasty traditional meal in the cosy atmosphere of the authentic restaurant, you can rent toboggans or snow tubes right there.
